Tee Nuts
Tee nuts (also called T-nuts or pronged nuts) create a strong, reusable threaded anchor in wood, MDF, particle board, and other soft materials. Tee nuts have an internally threaded barrel and protruding prongs that seat into a pre-drilled hole to resist pullout and keep the nut from spinning during tightening. When installed into materials such as wood or plastics they provide an internally threaded surface for fasteners.
