Structural Bolt
Structural product is a staple for American Bolt serving our steel fabrication customers with all steel to steel applications. We offer both the structural hex bolt & tension control bolt, complete with material test reports.
The structural hex bolt is designed with a larger head for distributing the heavy load evenly. American Bolt provides F3125-A325 and F3125-A490 specification. A325 bolts are typically supplied in plain or galvanized. A490 are provided plain.
The tension control bolt, also known in the industry as TC bolts is provided as an assembly consisting of a bolt, heavy hex nut & structural washer. TC Bolts are a single sided installation and is properly installed when the spline breaks off. This process simplifies installation and reduces installation time, significantly saving you on labor cost. American Bolt provides TC bolts in F1852-A325 & F2280-A490 specifications in plain finish or mechanical galvanized.
