Heavy Hex Nuts

Heavy hex nuts are larger and thicker than standard hex nuts. The bigger body gives more thread engagement and a wider bearing surface, which helps in high-clamp or large-bolt applications. We stock heavy hex nuts in the most common specs and materials:

• ASTM A194 2H: Heat-treated carbon steel heavy hex nuts for high-strength fastening.
• ASTM A563 Grade A: General-purpose carbon steel heavy hex nuts.
• ASTM A194 Grade 8: 304 stainless steel heavy hex nuts for corrosion resistance.
• ASTM A194 Grade B8: 316 stainless steel heavy hex nuts for corrosion resistance.
