Hex Head Cap Screw
Hex Cap Screws are six-sided fasteners with a washer face under the head and a chamfered end. These screws may be partial or fully threaded, with fully threaded referred to as Tap Bolt. Often times Hex Cap Screws and Hex Bolts are used interchangeably, however hex cap screws are designed to be fastened by tightening the head. Tighter tolerances allow a hex cap screw to be used in tapped hole applications. Hex bolts are generally used in applications when a nut will be used. We provide hex cap screws to the IFI industry standard.
